Q. What is ARMSE?

A: ARMSE is a non-profit organization, non-partisan association whose purpose is to promote awareness among retired and active State of Missouri employees regarding the function of agencies of government which administer retirement and health benefits.  ARMSE also helps to promote awareness of the legislative process by which those same benefits can be improved, reduced, or modified.

Q. Who does ARMSE represent?

A: ARMSE represents retired State of Missouri employees, those actively employed by the State of Missouri, and spouses or surviving spouses of those retired or actively employed.

Q. How can members become more involved with the association?

A: Members can become involved with the association by joining a local ARMSE chapter,  helping to form a new chapter in their area, attending the statewide meeting held in Jefferson City during the month of October, and attending board meetings of ARMSE, MOSERS, MPERS and MCHCP.  Our organization's membership has had a long history of  promoting and supporting legislation which improves the circumstances of those both retired from and actively employed by the State of Missouri.
