ARMSE serves about 39,000 retired and 63,000 active employees of the State of Missouri.  It is a non-partisian association dedicated to promoting an awareness of the function of those agencies of state government which administer retirement and health care benefits as well as the legislative process by which those same benefits can be improved, reduced, or otherwise modified.

Since its inception in 1969, the Association of Retired Missouri State Employees has worked to keep those it serves informed about the State’s administration of health care and retirement programs in which both retirees and active employees participate.  ARMSE works to improve benefits of retired and active State of Missouri Employees, appears before legislative bodies in support of bills affecting pensions and health care benefits, disseminates information pertinent to retirement programs  and  promotes a fellowship between members by providing a forum for the discussion of these matters.

Members of ARMSE set the policies and priorities of their association to meet the needs of those it serves.  By joining a group like ARMSE, members add their voice to the voices of other members, in an effort to understand and improve the state’s pension and health care plans.

If you are already a member, thank you for the part you have played in contributing to the success of ARMSE.  If you are not a member, you will want to join an association that works for you.
